Everyone is truly welcome to join us over Christmas. Some services and activities are especially planned with children in mind whereas others are may be more suitable for adults and older children or young people. Unless otherwise specified services take place in the Church.
CHRISTINGLE CRAFT AFTERNOON: SUNDAY 15th DECEMBER, 2.30-4pm
Festive fun in the church hall for all the family. Face painting, biscuit decorating, and Christingle assembly.
Followed by…
CHRISTINGLE SERVICE, 4-4.30pm
A service suitable for all-ages and an opportunity to use the Christingles we’ve just made.
SERVICE OF NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS: SUNDAY 22nd DECEMBER, 6pm
A beautiful traditional service. Re-telling the Christmas story through 9 bible readings and carols. The congregation join in with most and a few are sung by the choir.
CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY LUNCH: TUESDAY 17th DECEMBER, 12.30pm
Come and enjoy Christmas dinner, the company of others and a festive atmosphere in the warmth of the Church Hall. Vegetarian options and dietary requirements catered to. Prebooking is essential for this lunch, please contact the office to reserve your place.
NATIVITY DRESS-UP CRIB SERVICES: CHRISTMAS EVE, 3pm & 5pm (service repeats)
A service all ages and stages of life can enjoy together. Hear the story of Christmas and come dressed as a nativity character.
MIDNIGHT COMMUNION: CHRISTMAS EVE, 11.30pm
A very special service which keeps vigil in the last half hour of Christmas Eve into Christmas Day with carols and Holy Communion
CHRISTMAS DAY ALL-AGE SERVICE, 10am
A Christmas celebration with carols, Bible readings telling the Christmas story, and a short talk about Christmas suitable for all-ages. Christmas clothing encouraged!
