There are several friendly groups where we meet and enjoy parish fellowship.

BIBLE STUDY GROUPS

There is a guided study group led by Andrew and Sarb which meets on a Tuesday at 12 noon in the Smee Room (Church Hall). The study follows the Sunday morning sermon series. There is also an informal ecumenical group which meets at 10:30 in the Smee Room on the second and fourth Thursdays in the month. Everyone is most welcome to turn up and join in.

In addition there are three home groups that meet. If you are interested in joining a home group, please discuss with the vicar or curate.

THURSDAY MORNING PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP

St Nicholas' Parent and Toddler Group meets on Thursday mornings from 9.30 to 11.30 during term time in the Church Hall. Mums, Dads, grandparents, carers are all welcome. There is an array of toys for the children to play with, a drawing table, Duplo and a book corner. The children play for an hour and a half, then we tidy up and finish the morning off with nursery rhymes. Coffee, tea, juice and biscuits are served throughout the morning. There is a £2 suggested donation per child. We welcome everybody to come and meet up with friends and to make new ones.

Craft and Chatter

We meet in the Church Hall during the Community Hub at every Tuesday from 10.30am. All kinds of craft resources (wool, needles, crochet hooks, material, and even a sewing machine!) are available for you to use. Coffee and cake is available from the cafe which runs during the hub and we enjoy having a good chat as we make.
