Services

Everyone is truly welcome to join us over this Easter Season. Some services and activities are especially planned with children in mind, whereas others are may be more suitable for adults and/or the whole family. Unless otherwise specified services take place in the Church. From 1st April to Easter Sunday in the church (open all day), come and explore our Easter Prayer Stations which help us to think about Easter and how it can transform us

Palm Sunday

13 April

Sunday Services as usual, they will include a blessing and distribution of palm crosses as we think about Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem

14 April

11am to 1pm - Ready Steady Easter

WEDNESDAY FAMILY ACTIVITY

16 APRIL

3pm to 5pm - Prayer Stations & Hot Cross Buns

Families are invited to drop into the Church to explore the Prayer Stations and enjoy some hot cross buns

Maundy Thursday

17 April

10:30am to 12pm - Easter Session of Hymns We Love

We will be exploring an Easter themed Hymn in addition to singing other well loved seasonal hymns accompanied with the organ,

refreshments at the start and end of the session

6pm - Holy Communion Evening Service

Contemplative Holy Communion Service

7:30pm - Prepare Pause Pray

Easter Session of Prepare Pause Pray in the South Chapel at the main church. Join us for 45 minutes of immersive mindfulness and prayer around the theme of Easter (and chocolate!)

Good Friday

18 April

9:30am - All Age Family Service

Contemporary Worship Service for the whole family

11am - Churches Together in the Dittons

Short open air service on Giggs Hill Green

2pm - Meditation on the Cross

Join us for an hour of music, readings and reflections as we consider how Jesus gave up his life for us on the cross.

This service is in the Main Church geared towards adults

Easter Sunday

20 April

8am - BCP Holy Communion

A quiet contemplative service using the Book of Common Prayer

10am - All Age Easter Sunday Holy Communion

An All Age Easter Sunday with contemporary worship and hymns. Please note there will be no 4pm service
